Having Problems?

There are several common problems that users have when trying to either register or login to interactiveCSP. This page will help you to clarify what the problem is and what you do about it.

General issue

The site only works with version 6 or above of Microsoft Internet Explorer - if you are using version 5 you will need to download the free upgrade to version 6 of Internet Explorer from the Microsoft web-site. Please note this is a large file and will take some time to download. If using a work computer you will need to contact your IT people to make this change for you.

Please note: the site also works with the Mozilla Firefox web-browser

Common problems registering

1. Step 1 of registration - you need to use ALL 6 digits of your CSP membership number, including preceding zeros. For associate and student members please also include the letter preceding your number.
2. Step 2 of registration - you need to choose a password of at least 6 characters.
3. Step 3 of registration - you need to ensure your email address(es) are accurate. You need to attach yourself to a health authority/board. You need to agree to the privacy statement. If you have problems when accepting the privacy statement, this probably means you have an old version of Internet Explorer. See 'General issue' above.
4. Step 4 of registration - you need to join at least 1 network to complete the registration.

Common problems trying to login

Please go through each step in turn

1. Registration - have you registered to new interactiveCSP?
   Yes - go to next question
   No - see previous section for common problems then click on register
2. Your login details - do you know your correct login details?
   Yes - go to next question
   No - use the forgotten login facility to get an email reminder
3. Your username - did you leave a space in your username when you tried to login?
   Yes - try it without a space.
   No - try it with a space.

If none of the above work then you will need to contact CSP for help. Please check which problem relates to you and call the number suggested.

Login reminder did not work - this most commonly means that there was either a problem with your email address or you have changed email address since registering. In both cases your email address will have been suspended. To reactivate your email address and find out your correct login details please contact our Enquiry Handling Unit on 020 7306 6666.

Your membership has lapsed - to regain access to the site you will need to renew your membership. If this is a CSP membership please contact our Enquiry Handling Unit on 020 7306 6666. If it is an Interest Group membership please contact the group directly.

You have recently qualified and have not yet joined CSP as a full member. To regain access you will need to join the Society as a full member. Please contact our Enquiry Handling Unit on 020 7306 6666.
